About me

Hi and thanks for coming,

I am a researcher in wildlife ecology
and conservation, with most of my
research focus, to date, being on
large African carnivores.

I am a Fulbright Scholar and am

for the moment affiliated with

Liverpool John Moores University

and the Botswana Predator

Conservation Trust.

Continued...

Previously, I have worked on a range of species and topics, from looking at sperm competition in bean beetles to working with primates in the mountains of South Africa to studying leopards in the woodlands of Botswana.  Most of the work I am doing now is focused around leopard ecology and conservation, and has used some sort of interesting wildlife technology.

My Fulbright fellowship will take place at UC Santa Cruz, with the Wilmers' lab, and will follow on from a project developed during my PhD, looking at using tourist photographs for wildlife monitoring.
